Rare Spade Chair by Finn Juhl for France & Søn

This later rendition of Finn Juhl’s Spade Chair Model 133 (1954) for France & Søn, was produced in limited quantities and manufactured in Denmark. This modified version of his original features a fixed, fully covered and cantilevered seat and backrest that offers a greater level of comfort and support. The "spades" at the end of each armrest make it easy to get out of this comfortable chair once you've melted into the back of the seat. Classic Finn Juhl style as it appears to have floating elements. The chair is made of solid beechwood and fabric upholstery. Made in Denmark. Stamps are visible on the underside of the chair.
